Zonaras Productions is an independent film production company, based in Athens.
The company was founded in 2011 by the French actress Katia Leclerc and the Greek director Karolos Zonaras.
It has produced 4 feature films and has done the distribution of the last one in Greece (Tranzit, 2024).
 
Zonaras Productions is doing editing and subtitling.
 
Zonaras Productions is also involved in theatre, documentaries and short films projects.
Recently the company is working on new forms of digital art.

Born in Athens, Greece, Karolos Zonaras studied cinema at the NYU in New York, then attended lessons at the Centro Sperimentale in Rome, Italy, where he lived for 13 years and made several short films that participated in various festivals receiving recognition (among which Venice Film Festival in 1993).
Since 1999, he is living in Athens where he has made 6 feature length films.

Born in Paris, Katia Leclerc O’Wallis studied drama classes at the theater Rond-Point des Champs-Elysées and got a Master in mathematics at the University Paris-Dauphine. She took part as an actress in theatrical performances (by Pauline Bureau, Adrien de Van, Ali Ihsan Kaleci, Michal Laznovsky… ) and in films, all over the world (France, U.K., Greece, Turkey, Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic,…). She had the leading roles in the feature films Charlie’s son (playing in English), Big Hit and Pedro Noula (playing in Greek) by Karolos Zonaras, and Back Held Hands (playing in French) by Nikos Kornilios.
